ILIA SPF Product Near Expiration (Delivered via Same Day Delivery)

Good evening, I'm hoping that someone can assist.  Today I received the ILIA Super Serum Skin Tint SPF via same day delivery from a Sephora store.  After opening the product I discovered that the expiration date is Aug/2024, just two months away.  In the past, the expiration has always been much further in advance.  Ordinarily I would return the product to the Sephora store, but I'm recovering from surgery, so that is a bit challenging.  Given these circumstances, how should a return be handled so that I can receive a product with an adequate expiration in a timely fashion?  Many thanks in advance.
