  How to cancel pending paypal payment for order that didn't go through?

I tried to place an order 3/25/24 and used paypal for payment. Once I was back on Sephora's website, my shopping cart was empty and there was no order in the order history and no confirmation email. However, there's are TWO payments pending on Paypal. I called Sephora and was told to call Paypal to void that payment, but Paypal told that Sephora has to do it (Paypal can void only after 30 days). Please advice what I can do now I will be out of $800 dollars!

@ale0532 The amount you may be seeing on your bank statement is indeed a temporary pending authorization, not a charge, and it will automatically drop within one Paypal cycle.
