What is your Holiday Bonus event, and when is it?

Our Holiday Bonus event is where you (our Beauty Insider members) get a special discount just for being part of our loyalty program!

The higher the tier, the bigger the savings:

Rouge members ($1,000 spent per year) get 20% off, VIB members ($350 spent per year) get 15% off, and Insiders (free to join!) get 10% off.

Rouge can shop early with their discount starting on Friday, November 1, while VIB and Insiders can shop starting on Thursday, November 7. Holiday Bonus ends for all three tiers on Monday, November 11.

Where can I shop?

In store and online! That includes our stores and website in Canada as well as Sephora inside JCPenney stores.

Wait, I’m Rouge...Can I really share my 20% off on Friday, November 1?

Yep, you can! Bring your favorite shopping buddy in store on November 1 and, when checking out, let a Beauty Advisor know they’re with you. Then voilà! 20% off their purchase too, just like you.

How many times can I use my discount?

As many times you’d like! Our Holiday Bonus discount is unlimited use in store and online—just flash your Holiday Bonus email in store and use code HOLIDAYSAVE online.

Speaking of which, what’s my online code again?

Regardless of which tier you are, your code is HOLIDAYSAVE.

I’m Rouge and have a Rouge Reward. Can I combine my Rouge Reward, my Credit Card Reward, or my Credit Card first purchase discount with the Holiday Bonus discount?

You will not be able to combine any other offers or discounts with the Holiday Bonus discount, including Rouge Reward.

I am a Credit Card holder and have a Credit Card Reward and/or Credit Card first purchase discount of 15% off. Can I use my Credit Card Reward, Credit Card first purchase discount, or Rouge Reward with the Holiday Bonus discount?

You will not be able to combine any other offers or discounts with the Holiday Bonus discount, including Credit Card Rewards and discounts.

I am a Credit Card holder and have a 15% first purchase discount. Can I save that for later and use the Holiday Bonus discount now?

Yes. You can choose to use your Holiday Bonus discount now and save your Credit Card 15% off first time purchase discount for later and still earn % back using one of your Sephora Credit Cards. Simply enter promo code HOLIDAYSAVE to apply the current promotion, but don’t forget to use your 15% off Credit Card offer within 30 days of being approved.

Where and when is the promotion valid?

Valid on merchandise purchases made in Sephora US stores, Sephora Canada stores, Sephora inside JCPenney stores, and on sephora.com and sephora.ca. Offer not valid on jcp.com. On Friday, November 1, in stores only, Rouge client and one guest of Rouge who is a member of the Beauty Insider program and is present at the time of redemption will be eligible for 20% off all merchandise purchases. Not valid on orders shipping outside the US or Canada.

Are there any exclusions?

Promotion is not valid on The Ordinary and MAC Cosmetics VIVA GLAM products. Clients are limited to the purchase of one dyson item and five Morphe items per SKU per transaction. Not valid on in-store services, previous purchases, purchases of gift cards or eGift Cards, FLASH, PLAY! by SEPHORA, gift wrapping, packaging, taxes, or shipping and handling charges.

Can I combine this promotion with other offers or promotions?

This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or rewards.

What else do I need to know?

Return of discounted merchandise will be for the price actually paid. Sephora is not responsible for damaged, lost, or stolen offer materials or barcodes. Offer has no cash value and may not be altered, sold, bartered, or transferred. Rouge status must be attained prior to redemption. No minimum purchase required. Due to heavy demand, Sephora FLASH delivery times cannot be guaranteed for this offer. Sephora and JCPenney employees are not eligible for these offers. Sephora may modify or cancel offer at any time.

Any info on what time the sale will begin on Friday for Rouge customers? I'm in the Eastern time zone. Looking to purchase a DE Trunk and last year when I tried, they were out of stock by the time I made it to a computer on the first day!

While I feel for the VIB's, I am glad that Sephora is starting to differentiate between them and Rouges. VIB's shouldn't receive the same benefits as Rogues, especially since they spend less than Rogues.

Now whether or not they need to receive a 20% discount or Sephora needs to bump up the discount 25% for Rogues is a different matter- hopefully there was/is some discussion about this with the changes supposedly coming to the rewards system next year.

And while Ulta is useful, those 20% coupons often have restrictions and don't apply to what they consider 'prestige' lines-i.e. everything that is not drugstore makeup. With their high buy in for GWP's (mostly foils with a smattering deluxe samples) and Beauty Breaks that contain items that I don't have a use for, for me shopping at Ulta can be hit or miss most of the time.

I actually feel for you. You paid $1000+ to not only lose all Rouge benefits (exclusive sephora rouge specialty items/ colors, flash shipping, extra 20% off once a year at the time you made rouge- do they even still give a red gift when you renew?) ...they have basically made you the new VIB. You have VIB benefits as VIB did a year ago, but at $1,000 price tag. Dont feel bad for VIB, be mad for yourself. They pulled a bait and switch and some of y'all fell for it. Instead of giving you higher benefits, they said they will just give you VIB benefits and take 5% away from VIB to make it look different. That's stupid. You shouldnt say, "well I paid more there should be a difference"...you should say "I paid $1000+. Wherebis my freeshipping. Why am I not garuanteed $100 gift card. What happen to my exclusive gifts and discount for renewal." It's a race to the bottom. What you dont realize is they took that away, to garuantee they dont have to give you what you deserve. But apparently many Rouges are petty, instead of principled. I could never relate.

Bravo! Well said. Taking my business to Herbivore, youth to the people, etc where I can get 15%-20% off without spending $300+ for VIB status. Thanks Sephora for turning your customers away!

Excellent point lol. All they did was make rouge into a updated vib. You spending $1000 for what now? You basically have the same discount you had last year and the years before 20%. You didn't gain anything. This whole debate is laughable. I feel bad for those who are rouge but its your choice to keep spending a grand with sephora each year. I would rather take that money and invest in something but do you.

Yes to everything you said! Sephora survives off of young women who don't expect integrity from the businesses they support and who, unfortunately, don't bother with basic math. Sephora's rewards program has got to be the biggest scam in terms of number of customers it has duped.

Totally agree, it took me a while to start buying at Ulta because I like to be loyal to certain stores/businesses  but I’m really enjoying it! They deliver my package within 2 to 3 days I place my orders online without having to pay for flash shipping and receive the same benefits and more! the 20% discount happens several times a year, most of the time you can order online and pick up at the store the same day which I don’t do it because they deliver my items always fast! And how about the points??? You don’t need to be on top of their list to have the same benefits when redeeming your points!!! Is sooo good to be able to convert those points in cash! And on top of that is always available for you to do it! Not just on a special day or time! I currently have over 3400 points here in Sephora and I don’t plan to keep accumulating them unless they do something more beneficial for their customers! I can get the same 15% or more at the manufacture website, not to mention other competitors like beautylish that had a great incentives!!! For that reason I’m spending my $$$ somewhere else!

I understand why you don't allow to combine beauty offers. It's great that now there are more and more 5 deluxe samples offers for spending over $75.

However, I don't understand why you don't allow to combine 1 beauty offer with Vip Sale.

If I'm ordering makeup for, let's say, $500 & I get 20% off, why I can't also get the 5 deluxe samples for over $75?

Please, allow it for future.

P.S. the samples I get the more product I might buy in future.

@SephoraBIC  In the past there have been limits on how many Drunk Elephant items you can purchase per transaction (I believe it was a limit of three per transaction).  Are there any limits on Drunk Elephant for this sale?

What if we’re currently VIB but will likely move into Rouge status between Nov. 1 and Nov. 11? Will the discount apply to whatever status you are at time of checkout, or as of Nov. 1?
