Free Origin, does skincare container work, too?

Hi, I just got an email about Origin Earth Day Trade-In Event. I am beyond excited since it's a waste to throw away high quality containers. However, it says any cosmetic containers. Can I trade in skincare containers, too? I have an empty hair mask jar and an empty Estee Lauder moisturizer jar, do either one of them qualify?

You shouldn't have a problem turning those in, however I would recommend contacting your local Sephora just to make sure that it's alright :-).

I know its 1 per client, but I feel better recycling those pretty jars and bottles at Sephora or Origin rather than it being unceremoniously dumped in a dirty recycle bin with stinky beer bottles etc. (recycle snob?)

@Makeupobsessed Yes, that's true! They are all being recycled so it just has to be a cosmetic product. @Beautytester It is one per client, so you may want to double check with the store. I'm not sure if we'll be doing it next year, but I think it's great idea.

When I called a Macy's that has origins, they told me it didn't matter what u brought in.

Sweet! Lastly, is this going to be a yearly kinda thing or just one time, because if there's some sort of recycle promo next year, I will remember not to throw out the empty jars (instead of painstakingly move my leftover moisturizer into 2 sample containers). =X
