Fake or bad batch?

I recently bought Paco Rabanne’s invictus and I am a little concerned with the performance. Top notes are great, people can smell me for first half hour. However, once another hour passes, the scent can only be smelled about 2 inches from my skin. This leaves me wondering because I read up on how well this fragarance is supposed to perform (6+ hours). I have tried on skin and clothes, but nothing seems to make it last. I have only used 2 sprays because anything more is supposed to be overpowering. I have asked friends if they notice any scent on me past the 1.5 hour mark and they all say no. Is it possible that I just got a bad batch? Batch code dates to 7 months ago. The bottle and packaging all look authentic except for the dip tube. First pic is the one I found online, which has a slanted dip tube with a thin circular shape found at the very top. The second picture is the bottle I have, which is missing the thin shape, and the dip tube is straight. My understanding is that the bottles are supposed to be pretty much identical. I did order this from Sephora, which makes me think that I do have an authentic bottle, it just could be a bad batch. I’d love to hear what you think! Thanks!
