Fake modern renaissance palette?

So I bought the Modern Renaissance palette on Black Friday at Montebello Mall, Monterey Park. When I opened it, I was disappointed because the packaging was crooked. Even the mirror. The brush given wasn't even a good quality.(I expected something better because I paid so much for it) Not only was it crooked, but the magnets on the sides of the cardboard was bleeding out through. I didnt want to say anything because I didn't think sephora can sell a fake product. I mean it is sephora. I don't know what to do. Can i even return it. It has been more than half a year.I decided to speak up today because i saw a video of a girl who was sold a fake MR. What should I do? I still have the receipt for it and the box that came with it too.I am just worried that it has been too long and i did hit pan for cyprus umber. Really I don't want to believe that i paid $42 plus tax for a fake product but if it is fake, i want the real one!
