Expired Points

i am so disappointed. I logged in today for the first time in a year and half, only to discover my 1k points expired. No notification, no warning, just disappeared into thin air. I called customer service to explain my hardship and they were unable to help. This is utter bs. I wasn’t able to purchase and didn’t go to a physical store. Honestly I didn’t even know I had to redeem a birthday gift to keep points. Anyways, seems like Sephora lost touch with their customer base- even hotels and airlines extended their loyalty expiration dates for the pandemic, while Sephora couldn’t. I’ll be looking to take my business elsewhere; seems like direct with more GWP is the way to go now.

Regretfully points will expire if an account is inactive for 12 consecutive months or longer. I'll take a look further and I'll send you a message shortly.
