Expected delivery date is tomorrow abs my order hasn’t even shipped…

I placed my very first order with Sephora almost a week ago and my delivery date was set for tomorrow, however, my order hasn’t even shipped. I received an email yesterday stating delays due to the Beauty for All event, which ended December 12- literally weeks before I placed an order. After reading several posts in the community, it seems like this is a common occurrence, no matter when you order. It’s unfortunate because I rely on online shopping seeing as I have a young special needs daughter with no immune system, so due to Covid and flu season we are pretty much quarantined at home. I really try to be patient and not complain but it just seems like this is a problem many are having and both of my orders placed at Abercrombie and SHEIN on the same day as my Sephora order are out for delivery today and my Sephora package hasn’t even been packed yet.
