E-Gift card was charged and balance became $0 after transaction FAILED!

I placed an order online on 12/17 at around 12:00pm (Eastern time) with a $25 e-gift card, and this order FAILED after I pressed "Place Order". Then, I tried the second time to place an order online on 12/17 at 15:10 (Eastern time), and this time THE E-GIFT CARD WAS SHOWING $0. HENCE, I WAS ONLY ABLE TO USE MY CREDIT CARD TO PLACE THIS ORDER!!!

At first, my credit card and this e-gift card was charged! I checked my credit card account and the transaction was hold, then next day, my credit card was not charged money BUT THE BALANCE OF THIS E-GIFT CARD IS STILL $0!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I contacted Sephora employees many times by e-mails and calls, and they did nothing. They keep responding that I placed my order with my credit card rather than e-gift card, and I HAVE TOLD THEM MANY TIMES THAT I CANNOT USE THE E-GIFT CARD to PLACE THE SUCCESSFUL ORDER BECAUSE IT WAS UNAUTHORIZED CHARGED AFTER THE FIRST FAILED ORDER. This logic is not hard to understand! Please resolve this issue. Thank you.
