Deliver-it delivered package to trash

I got a notification my package was being delivered today, I can see my address is correct but received a call from a delivery driver asking me how to get in my complex and deliver to my door, I gave him entry instructions and he verified my unit number and location and triple asked me what building. After confirmed details multiple times and agreeing he would leave the package on my door step I checked the ring camera after 10 minutes to see no one had arrived yet. I looked at the app shipping tracker and noticed no only did he ignore our confirmation conversation he started, but he delivered it on the floor next to the trash can in the corner. I messaged him asking what happened and he said he left it in the mail room, this isn’t even the mail room! My complex is large and has many buildings with one main mail room located by the leasing office. 
he went to my actual building that does not require any code and instead of going up the elevator to the door we discussed he left it on the floor by the trash, I ran down to look after only 10 minutes and it was no longer there.

Getting ahold of the deliver-it has been difficult

has anyone had issues with Deliver-it?

Yes! I don't understand why Sephora doesn't just use USPS. My packages are NEVER delivered on first attempt because they don't make any attempt to use the call box! I'm getting so fed up with Sephora's delivery.
