Category filter missing from app

     The category option is now missing from filtering in the app. On the website it shows up at the top but there’s no option to filter by product category in the app.

i brought this up with the beauty advisor live chat recently (about my disappointment with this option being gone now) and they literally told me now instead to go through: shop screen in app > find category category > click each sub-category (i.e. if I wanted to see ALL lip products at sephora, that would be the way to do it... go back and forth and visit each sub-category under the main lips category OR if I wanted to filter a specific product category out of for a specific brand) that is their solution.

Well that’s not a great solution. They should just fix it

If you could follow up with them regularly and let us know as soon as this is fixed, it would be appreciated. It's the only filter I use in the Sale section and without it the app's usefulness is greatly reduced. Thanks. I sure wish software updates didn't lead to worse functionality, but such is the seeming way of things! Hopefully this was just a  bug, a tiny oversight quickly corrected, and not a deliberate choice.
