Canceled my entire order for nothing?

I got a notice saying my entire order was canceled because one item was "out of stock"; I go to the website and the item still seems to be available for purchase, no out of stock warning in sight. My birthday gift, and all of my extra samples were canceled too all for nothing. I'm extremely disappointed. I have no idea what happened. And I am giftless on my birthday. Thanks for that, Sephora >.<

Update: Tried to purchase different items, with a different birthday gift, and I can't even place the order because it says one or more things are "out of stock".
