Canceled Order

Hello,

Im trying to be a good Boyfriend and order a gift card for my girlfriend. The first order i placed the order I checked was unsuccessful, So I went ahead and placed a new order for a gift card to see that it was canceled by Sephora. At this moment i thought maybe its my card but they had withdrawn the money so I went and purchased it through paypal since maybe it was something in their system as the issue. I check again and it got canceled. I know my money will be refunded but why do they keep canceling my order. Can i buy a gift card with debit if i go in person or do I just go and say f sephora and buy more ulta giftcards since I never have that issue with them
