Can’t use temp credit card

I was approved for the Sephora card and it said that I could use the temp card online . But when I try to checkout the CVV is missing . And the CC company or Sephora customer service can’t help. This is very frustrating as I need my order for a trip . Please figure out what the issue is . I see this happening frequently. I would like to place my order today to use my offers .
