Can someone provide me with a shipping number

I placed an order last week and half was shipped and I was given a tracking number. Today the second half was marked as shipped but I was not provided with a tracking number. I called customer service and they said they didn't have one to give me and needed to request it from UPS which has never happened before. Can someone please help me find my tracking number?
