Can I use my JCP credit card to make Sephora.com purchase? (March 2018)

Simple question: Can I use my JCP CC to make purchases through Sephora.com? I'm a JCP employee and card holder who's been told I can use my card here. However when I go to enter my card info, it says it is invalid; I assume this is because regular credit cards have 16-digits and an expiration date-- two things a JCP card does not have. 

So, can I use my card to make purchases here? If so, how do I get the site to accept it and not shout "Invalid card info"?

The methods of payment currently accepted at Sephora.com are Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, PayPal, JCPenney credit cards, Sephora Gift Cards and Sephora.com eGift Certificates.
