Best eye creams for dark circles on mature skin 50 years old

I am trying to find an effective eye cream for my mom who is turning 49. She complains mostly of dark circles but some wrinkles as well. I was wondering what eye cream would be effective for her?

Are retinols better for someone who is almost 50? Or is vitamin C good? She doesn't wear concealer so that is why she is mostly looking for an effective eye cream to help.

I think a good retinol and a vitamin C would be great! I use retinol at night and vitamin C in the morning. I have actually been living the nuetragina vitamin C capsules. I get them at CVS. They are 20% vitamin C which is a very high dose! When I'm in between retinols I just pick up some differin gel Adapalene gel 1%. It is an acne treatment but it also has the most retinol you can get in a nonprescription! Start using it like once every 3 nights until she gets used to it. The after about 3 weeks I was able to go to every other night. Now i use nightly. Another thing that I have actually seen almost immediate results is Peach Slices Snail Mucin 95% concentrate all in one oil free moisturizer! Weightless hydration for a balanced glow. I put a little extra under my eyes and It's some wonders for my complexion! Cosrx is another really good brand of snail mucin. Also another great brand of vitamin C is Timeless. I've also heard good things about drunk elephant. Hope that helps!!
