5000 points lost

What is the point of redeeming 5000 points towards two $100 cash rewards if you can’t check out at the same time OR it doesn’t go back to your account if you didn’t get a chance to use it? 

I’ve been with Sephora since 2015 as a VIB rouge and asked for 1x accommodation for at least one $100 reward that expired on me because it didn’t allow me to use it during the check out. 

when I called customer service, I didn’t qualify for accommodation since I haven’t been a loyal client or apparently haven’t spent that much money. 

I was trying to purchase nutrafol since I’m going through postpartum and hair loss. I spent money at Sephora and I tried to use MY reward that I saved, but NOPE. 

I heard Ulta have better service and rewards as well as the direct brand. 
after using rest of my rewards, I’ll be deleting Sephora’s app.
