5 digit pin on gift card

I got a $50 gift card for Christmas. Today I wanted to buy something that is only available online and it’s nowhere near me, but when I scratched off the card and PIN number, there’s only 5 numbers in the PIN not 8 like required online. 
What can I do since what I’m looking for is only available online
