14 digit giftcard number/8 digit pin

I was gifted a Sephora gift card and upon scratching the number off on the back it revealed a 14 digit number and 8 digit pin. As I entered this number in checkout I was given an error message. I started a customer service chat in which Winnie told me my only option was to call Fiserv, which was the number on the back of the card. I was confused because the number on the back of the card connected me to Sephora customer service. I pressed 0 to speak with a representative because none of the other prompts applied to me. As I was connected I gave all the same information (14 digit gift card number, won't let me use it online, etc.) and the solution to my problem is to GUESS the 2 missing digits of the gift card. Unfortunately they can't help with anything else. I asked WHY IN THE WORLD THEY ARE SELLING GIFTACRDS WITH DIGITS MISSING!?!? No response. Just guess if I want to try to redeem it. WOW

I am having the same issue.  I purchsed a giftcard on Friday for my niece and she tried to check the balance but it only has 14 digits.  She went to a Sephora store and they could not accept the card either.  They told her that she was the 7th person reporting this same issue.
