Volume

My hair curls always settle into a Christmas tree triangle. How do I give it lift and volume up top? Cut or products?

Volume

Layers definitely keep your hair from looking like a triangle. As well as putting your hair in a mop or tied up in a microfiber or cotton t-shirt, this prevents your hair from going flat on top by pulling your roots down. I hope this helps!

Re: Volume

I'm pretty sure the solution to the triangle is getting some layers in your hair. Having some of your curls angled around your face can help create a flattering shape too @junescot

Re: Volume

@junescot not sure what your curl pattern/texture  is but I would suggest maybe getting a consult for a devacut. Also make sure to clarify your scalp in between cowashing, if there is buildup it can weigh the roots of your hair down and make them look flat. A product I use to exfoliate my scalp that I would suggest is  Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-exfoliating Scalp Scrub Shampoo 8 oz/ 236 mL

Re: Volume

Backcomb + dry shampoo on top  and Moroccan oil to loosen and hydrate the curls at the bottom - Good Luck
