In need of hair help!!!

Hi!! I have thin wavy and dry hair and I have no idea how to properly take care of it! The most I do is shampoo and conditioner my hair then put in a Shea moisture leave in, but that’s doesn’t even work for my hair. My waves last for less than a day, fall flat, and then the top is left frizzy while the bottom is straight with slight curls towards the bottom. All I want are nice lasting waves and soft, hydrated hair!! Does anyone have any suggestions or routines??? Thank you!!!

I would recommend getting a clarifying shampoo first. If you use it once or twice a week, it will help remove any buildup of products. This will help bring your waves back to life as well as combat the effects of too much product pulling down on your waves. Then, you should find a good deep conditioner or curl cream. I really like Cantu curl cream, but, for your thin hair, you would have to make sure to use a very small amount to keep from weighing down your waves.

If your hair is thin your styling product may be to heavy. Rinse out all conditioner and try a light, CG approved mouse maybe?
