Best haircare products for permed hair?

First time poster here!

 

I am getting a perm to achieve those beach waves everyone loves. I haven't had a perm since the 80's and am more than a little nervous.  

 

What products should I stock up on to make sure my hair stays hydrated that won't weigh it down? My hair is also color treated...  Assume I own nothing.  What regimen would you recommend?
