Anybody else with 3a/3b curls use a gel then a cream, not the opposite?

I feel like i'm the ony one that her hair works best that way and in that order:

leave in, gel, cream, and sometimes a light oil on my ends..

@dodda I have combo 3b/3c hair. To refresh second/third day hair or right after cowashing to define my curls, I will part my hair into 4 sections and use a diy leave-in spray I make to wet the curls, next I finger comb throughDEVACURL - ULTRA DEFINING GEL Strong Hold No-Crunch Stylerthen if I want more definition to certain ends that are not curling the way I want I will add DEVACURL - SUPERCREAM® Coconut Curl Styler. Everyone’s hair and curl pattern is different so what might work for one may not work for another. With hair, it takes trial and error to perfect what works best.

What creams do you use? I have the same curl type (in between 3A & 3B) and only use a gel-oil hybrid.

I use/like deva curl supercream, shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie, cantu curl activating cream, mane choice cream (the pink & lemonade line)..

Huh. I don't think I would have thought to try that. My 3b curls are the most finicky locks I've ever seen. Tho, I'm sure every CG thinks that. If I remember, I'll give it a try on my next was day and let you know!
