techniques for concealer

hi, i ordered the Kosas Mini Revealer Super Creamy + Brightening Concealer with Caffeine and Hyaluronic Acid and i was wondering if anyone had recommendations for how to apply the concealer to cover up blemishes and dark spots.

@oceanloverr , there's many ways.  Kind of boils down to preferences and what color you're covering up.

For redness or dark spots, you can use a color corrector and then concealer. Green is typically used for redness.  Depending on your skin color, for scars you might need pink, peach, orange.

For general discoloration, you can use a concealer brush like SEPHORA COLLECTION PRO Concealer Brush #71 or PAT McGRATH LABS Skin Fetish: Sublime Perfection Concealer Brush for precision.  If I'm wearing foundation, I try to put very little on the acne and then go in with concealer and blend the edges.  I may use l press powder or lightly dust with powder to set, if I want a matte finish
