Which concealer is better for no makeup between nars, Laura mercier and makeup forever

Hi! I’m pretty new to the makeup scene and would ideally just want to wear concealer. Ideally should last long-ish and not flake or cake. If I had to wear it on its own, which one Is recommended? Also, if one had to choose, which is  better between The nars, Laura mercier and makeup forever?

@Lovemyskin1 I would choose Nars.  You can watch Desi Perkins on Youtube.  She has a video of her using just concealer and not much makeup.

I would advise not using concealer on its own and would highly recommend using primer before concealer.  When concealer on its own, it tends to clog your pores.

Another option if you're new to makeup is to use a tinted moisturizer, BB cream or CC cream.  This give your skin a natural look and glow.

Concealer is used for 2 different reasons: covering blemishes like acne and dark spots or brightening your face like under your eyes or high points of your face.

For covering blemishes, use a concealer color the same color as your foundation, or skin color in your case.  Make sure the undertones match as well.  If you're covering acne, you can use a green color corrector before concealer.

For brightening, choose a concealer 2 shades lighter than your foundation or skin color.  I found that for brightening concealer, the undertone color doesn't really matter as long as it's 2 shades lighter.  For example, I use foundation with warm undertones, but use concealer with cool undertones and it still blends nicely. 

I would choose a light or medium coverage concealer if you're not going to wear foundation, so Laura Mercier would be out since it's full coverage.  I do like that concealer tho.  If I were to choose between Nars and MF, I would go with Nars.  Light or medium coverage will blend in better with your natural skin instead of looking like you applied concealer to just certain places of your face.

If you decide on Makeup Forever, I would go with MAKE UP FOR EVER Ultra HD Self-Setting Concealer 52 - Chocolate (not this color) since the other 2 are full coverage.
