Texture help please please

Guys I need help when I wear makeup my skin look so texturized and I don’t know why or what to do about it I need some help figuring out a good moisturizer and night cream and some help with my makeup application because something is off my skin doesn’t look like this when I’m bare faced. I have dry skin but a sometimes oily t zone I break out easy so I try to use oil free products. This pic is me with the Bobbi brown vitamin cream and first aid beauty moisturizer with shape tape hydrating foundation on and shape tape under my eyes applied with a BB and a buffing brush and all nighter to set with some bronzer powder on top because the color was off. I’ve heard cera v clogs your face is that true? I use that for nightcream.

Re: Texture help please please

The reason for texturized skin a build up of dead skin and peach fuzz! You want the smooth your face out as much as possible. I use STACKEDSKINCARE - Dermaplaning Toolto skim my face and exfoliate. You can physically see the peach fuzz and the dead skin on the blade!! I also would suggest  STACKEDSKINCARE - Hyaluronic Acid Champaca Hydrating Serum. It moisturizes, controls oil, and visibly plumps fine lines! Hope this helps!

@BrunchBunnie Chemical exfoliation is key. I use Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta® Extra Strength Daily Peel Pads 30 Treatments + 5 Bonus

Every other day. My skin doesnt look textured (because it isnt) in photos or real life. These pads contain various exfoliating acids such as Glycolic, Lactic, Ferulic that work hard to break down any texture and keep bumps at bay. They are also a great anti aging treatment.

RE: Re: Texture help please please

I will definitely try those pads thank you!!

RE: Re: Texture help please please

This is gonna sound crazy but I used the originates aha nah chemical exfoliant two days before I took this photo is that just not strong enough???

Re: Texture help please please

I struggle with this too girl! You need to exfoliate to try to get rid of all that dead skin. This isn't sephora related, but I would go to a facialist and get dermaplaning. Your skin is as smooth and glossy as can be after. They shave off your peach fuzz, and exfoliate your skin like CRAZY. Your foundation will never look better. Also, shape tape is going to be way too thick and bring out flaws. I'd recommend Givenchy Photo Perfexion foundation, and a more natural finish concealer, like YSL. You need to start with a good skin-care routine, get a good base, and then your makeup will look a ton better 🙂

I used the ordinary aha bha chemical exfoliant two days before do you think it’s just not strong enough? Thank you for the dermaplaning info I’ll check it out!
