Skin after foundation

Hey! So my skin is oily on a daily basis but I use a maybelline fit me matte and poreless foundation and the weird thing is the corners of my mouth and sides of my nose and my chin become reallllly dry after putting my foundation. I hydrate my face before putting makeup and it looks bad with dryness. Any suggestions?

Hey there @makeupyess ! What moisturizers and primers are you using before your foundation application? If you are suffering from dry patches, I suggest you incorporate an oil to your routine beforehand so you can hydrate your dry areas. An oil I like to use for dry patches is FARSÁLI - Rose Gold Elixir – 24k Gold Infused Beauty Oil. I also like to use a good primer to make my base stick and keep me shine-free for a while. My go-to primer at the moment is Tatcha The Silk Canvas Protective Primer 0.7 oz/ 20 g.. It is wonderful on oily skin and keeps me shine-free for a long time!

It’s weird but lots of lotions kind of burn my face so I don’t really do moisturiser. I also am new to makeup so I don’t really have a primer or hydrating oil but I’ll definitely try the ones you recommended.
