Seborrheic keratosis

Has anybody had any success in reducing the appearance of seborrheic keratosis on the face using at home treatments?

The one I have is slightly darker than skin color (beige) but has become bumpy (a doctor diagnosed it and said thankfully it is benign). Does anyone know what is either useful or harmful to apply to such a lesion on the face? I’m wondering if I should avoid irritating it by applying skin care products or if it would actually be beneficial to apply something like glycolic acid. I’d appreciate any advice!
