Looking for coverage info

Hello everyone!! I mostly just wear lipstick and maybe mascara... But I'm trying to figure out how to get some coverage for my face as I've developed some spots. I don't want anything heavier than I need. I thought I'd start by trying some bb cream.

You might like a really natural finish light coverage foundation! I'll link to two foundations I really like that give a nice natural glow and aren't too heavy, but give some coverage. They are also good for evening out your skin tone if you have some red patches.

You could always do a BB cream and dab of a concealer or corrector where needed. If you wear SPF for the summer, a tinted moisturizer with SPF will do triple duty.

Thanks, I'm a bit ashamed to admit I'm a bit unsure about when to do concealer vs bb cream vs foundation. I don't want heavy coverage but I turned 40 in December and I've got some age spot type of spots on my face that I'd like to smooth out. I picked up some bb cream but it's not enough, so maybe next I'll look for some concealer. Thanks!!!

yes, I like just concealer where needed.  and maybe powder on top, like bare minerals.
