How to make foundation long lasting!

I have no issue with my makeup other than that it gets really oily and cakey (even with very little application) after about 3 short hours... even after setting my foundation with the Becca blotting pressed powder. Any Solutions??

Does this happen with every foundation you use? Not every foundation works for every skin type well and it may just be that its not the foundation for you. If you only have the one you might want to head to your local sephora and get a few free samples and try other options!

Are you using a primer? If not - you may want to invest in a mattifying primer like the cane and austin or MUFE  one - you could apply in just your trouble areas if you are more combo. If you are using a primer, it may be that your foundation and primer are not playing well together so again you may want to get a sample of one or two others and see if that changes things up.  

Also, I know its pricey but the Sunday Riley Martian toner is great to help mattify all day. You can use it in the morning to help wipe away your night time skin care remnants and it will help mattify all day.
