Foundation Shade Help

Hey there!

I'm pretty new to this makeup game. I've been trying to find a foundation that won't break the bank AND meets my requirements. I'm looking for a unicorn! Lol.

I'm pretty fair skinned, have large pores, an oily t-zone and some fine lines on my forehead. I'm having a hard time finding a foundation that doesn't totally wash me out and matches my neck pretty well.

I use it Cosmetics oil free tinted moisturizer in shade Fair, and that seems to be a fairly good fit. I tried the Fenty pro filter matte foundation in shade 100... It was a good shade fit, but the foundation sat horribly on my skin.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Re: Foundation Shade Help

Hey @Fidget91 ,

Haven't tried it yet, but I've heard wonderful things about LYS Beauty Triple Fix Serum Foundation .  It's got a nice finish, and it builds up well.  I have a darker foreheard than the rest of my face, so very little foundation needs to go there.  Foundations like this are great because you can just add coverage exactly where you need it and not feel like your complexion is washed out.

SEPHORA COLLECTION Best Skin Ever Liquid Foundation is also another good buildable foundation.

You can also try just using concealer as foundation.  I love to sheer out Jouer Cosmetics Essential High Coverage Liquid Concealer , it's pretty thick, but sheers out well.  The Ordinary also makes a concealer that's pretty thick, pretty affordable.
