Best way to keep foundation from caking up?

Hello!

I am trying to look for some tips on how to keep from my foundation from caking, specifically around my nostril. I have a double nostril piercing and that's usually a target trouble area.

Hi! My way of combating cakiness is to honestly not apply foundation in that area. i normally use a moisturizer, the rare beauty poreless primer, stila color correcting palette, and then glossier concealer on problem areas. when i need more coverage ill use the fenty beauty skin tint. best, most natural looking makeup ive achieved so far! i hope this helps!
