Am I warm tone or cool tone or neutral?

I am very much struggling to finding my perfect shade match in foundation and concealer. I am combination skin. I am always finding colors are to pink or to yellow. Nothing ever matches just right.

I'd guess you're "neutral", with a slight lean to warm. Best way to tell -

Cool -  Veins on inside of your wrist look blue and purple in natural light. You look better in white than in ivory. You look better in silver jewelry than gold. You tend to burn easily in the sun.

Warm - Veins on inside of your wrist look green in natural light. You look better in ivory than white. You look better in gold jewelry than silver. You tan easily.

Neutral - Veins on inside of your wrist are a mix of green and blue, or look greenish-blue. You can wear most colors. You can wear gold or silver jewelry. You tend to burn, then tan.

Now, the part about foundation often looking too pink or yellow gets tricky. I've found there are some brands that just tend to lean "yellow" - such as Too Faced, Tarte, Laura Mercier, Shiseido.....

My skin is neutral. I typically go with foundation from brands like Estee Lauder or Lancome, which offer more neutral shades. If I try a foundation from a brand whose foundations tend to run yellow, I look for a shade that says it's for "rosy" tones, and it usually works for me. HTH
