Hi @Linylin1115!  L'Oreal's Studio Secrets Magic Skin Beautifier comes in the shade "Fair."  Rimmel, which is carried by Walgreens, has a Stay Matte BB Cream that comes in the shade "Light."  I have found that some Rimmel products come in shades light and pink enough for me, such as their Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation, which is very lightweight and you might want to consider that also.  Its lightest shades are Porcelain Ivory and Light Porcelain. If you can find the brand, Lumene makes a CC Color Correcting Cream in the shade Light that is reported to be good for very fair skin.  I had used their BB cream when it was made several years ago, but it looks like it was replaced with their Instant Glow Beauty Serum.

CC creams/foundations tend to have a greyish tint with sunscreen as a general rule (the It Works! foundation is kind of known for this) so if you're looking for something to cover up the freckles I'd recommend a normal, buildable foundation to cover up anything extra without turning cake-y :~) high end I recommend NARS Sheer Glow and Maybeline Fit Me or L'Oreal Infallible for drugstore. Best of luck! Feel free to ask any other questions :~)

I have sensitive and combo skin and I exfoliate twice a week and go in with the MURAD - Rapid Resurfacing Peel2 to 3 times a week to get rid of my acne and brighten my skin. A lot of cleansers do the job for me, so I don't have a must right now. Although one I always come back to is the FRESH - Soy Face Cleanser because it's really gentle. As of right now, my favorite exfoliating product is the BOSCIA - Exfoliating Peel Gelmakes my skin baby soft (but it hurts a lot, cause it gets stuck in the peach fuzz lol but it's worth it).

I have combo skin and my dry/oily patches have evened out quite a bit since I started broadening my deceim - the ordinary products. It's a good idea to have a product with hyraluronic acid in it, I used their Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 serum as well as their natural moisturizing factor moisturizer with HA, however, I have heard that a water-based, gel moisturizer with HA in it is better for combo skin, so I'll be trying that afterwards. I also use their glycolic acid toner.

Most of the products I have returned are used. The thing is you can’t use a ton of product and be allowed to return it. Kind of a bummer when a product says results won’t be seen for 60 days, but if it’s an issue like clogging pores or drying out your skin or making you break out that’s probably going to be noticeable really quickly.

I actually only use the Hangover primer when my skin is very dry. I would never recommend it to people with oilier skin types. Even on dry skin you have to give it about 5 minutes to sink in/dry down before applying foundation, or else it sticks and pills off.

I find that the Nars lasts longer then the Luminous Silk. Neither look cakey on me however I should mention that I use brushes to apply my foundations. I tend to stay away from the beauty blender- I feel that it deposits too much product on the skin , its bet to user it once you've actually blended your foundation out. Also I noticed that the luminous silk tends to slide around and you really need to set it.

@BuzzkillJill I have combo skin with the added bonus of mild rosacea, and I'm absolutely obsessed with MUFE Ultra HD Invisible Cover. It's anatural finish, which I prefer because matte foundation + rosacea = poor results. It doesn't settle in my fine lines, doesn't require a setting powder, wears well all day, and feels like I'm wearing nothing but covers my imperfections flawlessly. I don't wear foundation every day, but this is my go-to for date nights or other events. I've only used a primer with it twice: once when the area around my nose was dry andflaky after a cold, and the other when I wore it to a wedding and needed it to last for twelve hours. The picture below is after said wedding; no filter, just poor lighting. I can’t recommend it enough!

I always travel with my make up in my carry on bag because I'm always afraid of things breaking when they transfer the checked luggage. As the other commenter stated, most make up products fall under the 3 oz limit the TSA requires.  Most Sephora's and Ulta's carry high end travel size products or you can buy small spray bottles and jars at Target/Walmart/any Pharmacy store to fill with your favorite products if they don't come in travel size.

@marlena731 Here's the review on PTR from beautypedia (it got 2/5 stars):   Spoiler This mud mask from Peter Thomas Roth has quite the story behind it, with tales of 9,000 year old mud hand-harvested from the moors of Ireland. There's definitely a bit of romance to it, but anecdotal, folkloric history does not equal powerhouse modern-day benefits for your skin. The brand's pitch is that this mud has the highest level of organic content in the world, full of essential nutrients. While that might be true, it's unlikely much of this organic content that's present in the mud itself remains once it's been processed for cosmetic use. Even if it did survive, there isn't an abundance of research showing it can have a benefit for skin when applied topically. Besides, organic matter from the ground can contain all sorts of things you wouldn't want to put on your skin, from heavy metals like lead to insect parts and animal manure. Then there's the issue of "detoxifying." There are more products than we can count that claim to draw toxins out of the skin, but that isn't possible. The only way for toxins to exit the body (regardless of where in the body those toxins might be) is for them to be processed through the liver and then excreted via urine or feces, which this product certainly can't do! With those expectations aside, this can definitely serve as a good fragrance-free oil-absorbing mask, since it contains charcoal powder, kaolin, and bentonite, which all have absorbent properties. Though there is seaweed present here as well, you won't get much of its antioxidant benefit since this mask is packaged in a jar (see More Info for details on why jar packaging is not the best for antioxidant ingredients). On balance, considering the inflated claims and the jar packaging, this mask – while it has potential – is ultimately not worth it, especially considering its price.  Pros: Fragrance-free. Effective at absorbing oil. Cons: Cannot detoxify skin as claimed. Overinflated claims about the benefits of Irish moor mud. Packaged in a jar, meaning the antioxidants it contains won't stay stable long after it's opened. Packaged in a jar, meaning the antioxidants it contains won't stay stable long after it's opened.   And here's the review on Glamglow (1/5 stars):   Spoiler Super-Mud Clearing Treatment is the sequel to GlamGlow’s original Tingling & Exfoliating Mud Mask (reviewed elsewhere on this site), and while the Super-Mud version boasts a different cast of ingredients, it nonetheless continues the trend established by the original—plenty of irritating plant extracts, potent fragrance and jar packaging. Jar packaging means the few beneficial ingredients that are present won’t be stable for long (not to mention the hygiene issue). See More Info for details on this type of packaging and why irritation is a problem for everyone’s skin. Super-Mud Clearing Treatment contains kaolin clay and silicate to absorb oil, followed by an unnecessarily lengthy list of AHAs, including lactic, glycolic, malic, pyruvic and (because, hey, why not?) BHA (salicylic acid) also makes an appearance. However, there is only a tiny amount of each present, so, even combined, it’s likely skin won’t see much exfoliation. It’s worth mentioning the pH of the Super-Mud Clearing Treatment is 4.1-4.4, which is borderline for providing results that will make you glad you used this mask. While GlamGlow’s Super-Mud isn’t a super option for exfoliation, it’s certainly a super-irritating blend of fragrant plant extracts and added perfumes—the scent is almost overpowering upon opening the jar. This is not good skin care in the least. While you will likely see oil reduction in the immediate sense from the absorbent clays in this mask, using it becomes a “buy now, pay later” cycle. Applying irritating ingredients to oily skin stimulates excess oil production at the base of the pores, which eventually means oilier skin and exacerbated breakouts (see More Info for details). Bottom line: This “Hollywood-favorite” mask isn’t worth the price of admission. If reducing breakouts, smoothing rough areas and brightening the appearance of skin is your goal, GlamGlow Super Clearing Treatment won’t get you there. PROS: None. CONS: Expensive; there are far better options for less money. The pH isnt optimal for effective AHA/BHA exfoliation. Potently fragrant. Contains numerous plant-based irritants. Did you use an Oil following the Babyfacial? Also, did your skin react badly to the 10 minutes? If not, I think you can go for the full 20 next time. The most important thing when using the acids is that you nourish your skin after, which is where the oil comes in.
