The inkey list retinol eye cream

I have enjoyed the inkey  list products and the retinol eye cream was one of the new additions of mine, right of the bat I knew I needed one as I am developing wrinkles around my eyes. I layer up with moisturizer first and then go with the eye cream and seal it back with some more moisturizer.


I use summer fridays moisturizer and it’s thick but I feel like since I’ve started using this my eye area is very sensitive, like even if I dab my day eye cream I feel irritated around the area and after a while the sensation goes away, it happens almost every time I try to dab any product around my eye. What could be the reason? Could be the retinol?

 

Also I was using the retinol eye cream every other day.
