Minimize pores

Hey!

So I have a very important matter to present: PORES! And why don’t they shrink a bit? I wash, exfoliate and prime my skin prior to makeup and I can still see them. I figured I have to shift my focus to shrinking the pores instead of finding the best primer ever to blur them. 

Any thoughts?!

Hey @Barbiefaze ! Some people genetically have larger, more visible pores than other people—and that's okay! Pores are a normal feature of skin. You can't "shrink" your pores' normal size: they don't open and close. 

If your pores seem larger than they usually are, they might be clogged with gunk—dead skin cells, excess sebum, etc.—that's stretching them wider than usual. You said you exfoliate. What exactly do you use to exfoliate your skin, and how frequently do you do it? (Over-exfoliation is a bad habit to fall into.) Have you used salicylic acid (BHA) before?

I don’t know exactly why they don’t shrink but i’ve been liking the Glow Recipe watermelon toner, i feel like it minimizes the appearance of them a lot!
