Hyaluronic acid at late 20s

Spoiler

Hi i have combination skin and have cystic acne marks . i am looking for hyaluronic acid to incorporate in my skincare . i am confused between snail mucin advanced essence and glow recipe plump plump HA .

can you help me which one is great for me ?

PS Also i am not sure if i am allergic to snail mucin.

Re: Hyaluronic acid at late 20s

HA won’t help your cystic acne marks. HA draws water to it, so it can temporarily plump the skin in some cases but it does nothing for exfoliating.  It can also draw water from your skin itself so you have to be careful with it, particularly if you live in a dry climate.

to help with fading marks you want to look at lactic or glycolic acid products.
Vit C and retinoids can help too.

Re: Hyaluronic acid at late 20s

@aishashaah909  snail mucin contains glycolic acid which helps exfoliate your face by removing dead skin cells. This also evens pigment and your whole complexion. And the alliotoin in snail mucin has hydrating and anti-irritating effects.  It’s also anti microbial so it’s actually better for acne prone skin than simple hyaluronic acid as it can speed up acne breakout healing.
If you’re unsure about an ingredient always do a patch test in a concealed area and wait 24hours 😉
