I completely cleared my acne with Drunk Elephant. However, it is pretty expensive. You can get the trial duos for $25-$27 and should last you a month. I used the glycolic acid in the morning with sunscreen and the retinol paired with the B-hydra at night with the protini moisturizer. I can’t stress how important the B-hysdra is . You absolutely HAVE to use it if you use retinol or even the glycolic acid. It keeps your skin from becoming irritated. Face was clear in 2 weeks. I do suggest Dr Dennis Gross cleanser over the Drunk Elephant though. The Drunk Elephant cleanser was irritating to my eyes. But I’m now acne free!

I don’t have any specific recommendations from the site, but there is a blog run by a pediatric critical care doctor I’ve found who goes over a lot of different pregnancy safe skincare. Congrats and hope this can help!

Hi @CharrrrRbecca! Farmacy has some great products. I like Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm. It removes makeup really well without needing to use too much and doesn’t dry out my skin in the process. There are a lot of positive reviews and recommendations for their other products. Is there anything in particular that you’re looking at? @KellyMcKelly mentioned that foaming products aren’t good for dry skin. They’re really great for stripping oils off your skin, which isn’t what us dry-skinned people want. This has been my experience too. My skin always felt tight after using foaming products of any kind, so I pulled them out of my routine.

Congrats on the baby, @CupCait1111! So with the products you pictured, I'd really encourage you to add a sunscreen as the DDG pads and the retinol serum will make your skin more susceptible to sun damage. And with any new products, you want to introduce them slowly and one at at time so that you can check for any negative reactions. I would start with the moisturizer and use that for a week. If no signs of problems, add the cleanser at night before the moisturizer. After a week with no negative reactions, add a sunscreen in the mornings. Use that for a week (a.m.- sunscreen, p.m.- cleanse and moisturize). Then choose one of the remaining products (all three are actives so you'll want to really be careful about introducing them). Since you've used the DDG pads in the past, you might start with those and add them two or three nights a week in between cleansing and moisturizing. After a couple of weeks, you can add one of the other products. If it's the vitamin C, I would add it three mornings a week before the sunscreen. If it's the retinol, add it two nights a week (not the same nights as the DDG pads). After a month or so, you can add the final product (retinol is often very strong and can easily dry out skin so it's important to take your time with it before adding too many other actives or harsh products).
