Tarte Timeless Smoothing Primer under water based foundation?

Hi, all! I’ve heard nothing but good things about this product and when I have tried it in store, I was wowed by how well it filled some larger pores near my nose. However, I know this product has some silicone type ingredients, and my HG foundation—Armani Luminous Silk—is water based. My understanding is that silicone based primers don’t play well with water based foundations. Does anyone use a similar combination successfully?

No need to worry @juliapalooza. Armani Luminous Silk is silicone-based like most foundations these days. The ingredients are pretty Euro foundation typical. So, if this primer combo works for you, you're all set! 🙂
