Organic apple cider vinegar for skin and hair

I have been using apple cider vinegar mixed with tea as a toner. Sephoramusthave mentioned it to me and I loved it so much, I had to share with you ladies. It's evened out my skin in terms of colour and texture to become softer and smoother. The only downside is the scent can be strong. Diluting with tea helps but I only use it at night.

I also read online that you can use the vinegar as a rinse. I didn't dilute it, just ran it through my hair and massaged it into my scalp after shampooing. After conditioning, I rinsed it out. The scent is strong but it didn't linger and my hair has been incredibly soft ever since. I recommend giving it a try for your hair or skin. It's all natural and very affordable. Thanks sephoramusthave ❤️

Re: Organic apple cider vinegar for skin and hair

hey, i'm really glad that you have posted this. i've been wanting to use this product but i:

a. have no clue where to get it?

b. what kind to get?

can you help me out. i read somewhere you aren't supposed to use the type you cook with on your face or hair, but what other type is there exactly, should i just use organic. thanks, sorry to bother you.

You take a plastic travel bottle and fill it 1/4 organic apple cider vinegar and 3/4 water or organic tea and shake ( and shake before each use). Store it in the fridge and use it within 1 month. I use chamomile tea for soothing properties, white tea/green tea/african red tea ( rooibos) for antioxidants or mint tea for refreshing/purifying.

I use Bragg Organic Apple Cider Vinegar.

This is a really great tip!  Thank you so much for sharing.  Would you advise using 1/4 of each of the three types of teas in one mixture?  Or is that going a little overboard?

Re: Organic apple cider vinegar for skin and hair

I bought a toner from this place online a while back and loved the results! HOWEVER, just like most of you are aware - the smell is a bit off setting (reason why I stopped using it) but it gives great balance to your skin!

Re: Organic apple cider vinegar for skin and hair

What company makes an apple cider vinegar toner? I would never spend money on that, its too simple to make yourself. Plus companies add in other chemicals like fragrance (to mask the scent, can contain up to 4000 different toxic chemicals) and preservatives. (The home made one has to be kept in the fridge.)

Re: Organic apple cider vinegar for skin and hair

Well nothing will happen to you if you mix them because its just tea. Its not chemical skincare where some ingredients might clash with each other and cause breakouts and irritation. However, I have never mixed any of the tea's and I dont know whether or not mixing 3 types of antioxidants increases the percentage of antioxidants in the bottle.
