All-Natural Teeth-Whiteners

Hey girls!!  I've done a lot of research when it comes to finding all-natural ways of whitening teeth, because in all honesty I don't want to start using Crest whitestrips and end up losing some of the enamel on my teeth because of them.  

Does anyone do anything to whiten their teeth naturally that they would recommend??

Also if anyone out there has tried using charcoal to whiten teeth, I'd love to hear about how that went for you.  It's been recommended to me before but I've never really found out whether it not it actually worked.

I use the Sonicare Diamond toothbrush as an alternative to whitening strips and my teeth are about as white as you can get them without bleaching. (:

Search "almostexactly" blog. She has a bunch of natural suggestions for teeth whitening! I've heard oil pulling is the new fad as well

Oil pulling does not whiten teeth, per se. It whitens your teeth just as much as regular brushing would, if at all. There's another thread addressing this.

I do oil pulling a few times a week for gum health, but I haven't noticed a difference in my teeth since starting.

Peroxide and Baking soda work, but they too can damage enamel if you don't use it properly. I use a peroxide rinse from Supersmile in the morning before brushing with a sonicare brush. 

Just because something is natural, doesn't mean it's better. 😉

I wish someone had told me that this whitening solution damages enamel when I was doing it because I for sure found it the hard way! My teeth definitely got whiter but...... A ton of my enamel got stripped off. And there's no amount of Pronamel toothpaste that can fix it

Exactly this.

While homemade/natural options may work, they can also cause major issues. 

Please keep this in mind when you consider your options.
