I just started looking at matte shadows at UD imagining what I'm going to get for my bday and I saw that they described oil slick as a matte shade on their website.  A matte shade with glitter!  I think they're confused on the meaning of "matte".

Matte base, there's less glimmer/shimmer to it. The sparkle/glitter is very barely there, very subtle.

I picked Gunmetal for my birthday shadow and love it 😄

There's a Moondust shadow described like this as well (Scorpio maybe?)... I didn't understand it either 😄
