Thank you ^__^ I'm usually more of a nude pink/medium pink lip color person. Lately I've been trying to jump into a bolder lip color to pair with simple eye makeup!

I'm about NC 20-25 (I think? It's been a couple of years since I last tried a MAC Foundation), NARS Deauville in their All Day Luminous range, Naked 2.0, etc.

I thought it would make me look super like...sallow or pasty, but it is quite nice! I'm glad I convinced you to get it too 😄 The products leave a nice stain after it wears off too!

Does anyone have a swatch of Barberry? i saw some online but it looks different on different skintones, so would be helpful to see more! 🙂 and if anyone know of any dupes for it? thanks!!

Barberry just arrived...of course I had to swatch and try on.  Loving it so far...only been wearing for 10 min or so 🙂  I don't have anything like it either.

I know that EvangelineDamon did swatches of a couple Nars Audacious compared to Barberry. I can't remember which two. Found it, it is closest to Fanny. However, Too Faced Melted Jelly looks exact in Temptalia's swatches. The Bite Burgundy lip cream is only a smidge of a shade off.

I love Barberry - you look absolutely gorgeous!

Am I the only one who has technical difficulties with Barberry? With a primer, it doesn't always apply evenly and it  "moves"/crawls/whatever outside my lip line.

I experienced the same too. It definitely traveled a bit and I was unable to fix my mistakes until the lipstick dried down a bit!

Thanks for responding! I'm glad it wasn't just me. I'm wondering if it is a formula issue (that maybe has been fixed for the new stock?? One can hope!)

 I did, at first. I used the BITE primer and applied Barberry right after (in haste) and that happened. I find if I apply and let it "set", it worked perfectly and didn't let Barberry budge. Try putting primer on after your skincare, do the rest of your makeup, and then put it on. That's what worked for me!
