I would have never thought to put Opal under a lipstick. What a great idea!!!! I now really want to buy it, and I had just removed it from my wishlist. Shucks! 🙂

I got the idea from the opal thread. Its so you dont mess up the opal with other lipsticks. Its the only way I wear it now.

Kir Royale and LLLR #10 arrived for me. Kir Royale is beautiful, a wine-berry with pink undertones -- not red on me at all. I don't have Juniper, but from my memory of trying it on Kir Royale is cooler. Very lovely.

LLLR #10 is definitely similar to Barberry, but less pink on me, bluer toned and more obviously purple. Perfectly nice.

Okay, let's see if this works. from right to left, LLLR#10, Barberry, Kir Royale.

Also, for those who may have picked up the recent MAC release Diva Antics, DA is darker and redder/wine-er than KR, which is pinker.

So you're basically saying we need them all? Exactly what I was thinking! I actually ordered Diva Antics last night. I will pick up the Kir Royale perk, I have nothing else to spend my points on most of the time anyway.

Definitely! Diva Antics is actually my favorite (I got a back-up), although the others are beautiful too. I've never really worn purple before, and while I like both Barberry and LLLR#10 a lot, I think they may be enough purple for me, at least for now.

Has anyone done a comparison of Kir Royale and Sugared Maple, by chance? Maybe the colours aren't at all alike, but some swatches of the Kir Royale remind me of the the way Sugared Maple shows up on my lips so I figured I'd ask. Thanks in advance for any links or pics :O)
