WHY does the brand have to call the seller to get the product put up on the seller's website?  That's crazy!!! Sephora CA should be really embarrassed by that.  You have to wonder if Bite isn't starting to look at Ulta and whatever Sephora competitor you have in Canada.

I thought about then decided to order all that I was missing (4 in all). Mr. Rebates is 8%  vs Ebates 4%. I didn't know how long the shades that I wanted would stay around so rather than lose out again, I went ahead and ordered. If they are still around on Friday, I'll order back ups.

I live in the US and am more than willing to help any Canadians who are regulars on BT get the shade you want.  I understand that might be not worth it for you with shipping (I have no idea how much it costs to ship from US to Canada) and the exchange rate, but the offer is on the table.  Also, I don't know how much the sales tax rate is in Canada, but it's a tad high where I live (about 9.5%), so you should consider that too when deciding.

Fun fact: Canadian tax rates vary, but most of us have higher taxes than that - 9.5% sounds like a deal to me 😉

Ontario is at 13% right now. Pretty sure we range from 5 - 15%

I think it's interesting, too! I find it a little funny when Americans mention the high tax rate for their state - we're almost always higher! Still painful to add on to a purchase though 😉

Here it varies state-to-state but also in some states county-to-county and then some states have provisions for city taxes on top of that. 

Sales, property, school, etc.

I moved from NYC (NY has high state taxes then there's the city's taxes on top of that) to North Carolina. When people complain about the taxes here I just laugh and laugh. Property taxes alone are a quarter what they are in NY state (not city). 

That said I believe Canadians get more out of their tax dollars personally, ours largely go to military and keeping the government running, which seems kinda silly.

Yes, but I think that is slightly skewed by NYC's numbers.
