Thank you for the swatches, @ajf1! That is great that 42 works with these colours because I also have and love Braised Maple and LLR 001. I don't have Almond, but now I think I might need that one along with 42. 🙂

Edit: These are classic lip pencils/liners, not to be used like lipsticks ( unless you really want to, and your lips can take it ), but for lining your lips, or to be used as a base with other lip products on top. I applied them all over my lips just for the sake of testing them, mostly for the color and the texture. So, people can see it properly, not mixed with other stuff.

is this just me or do I see tiny micro glitter/sparkles in the swatches O_o ?

Lachaton is right there isn't any shimmer in these or the lipsticks its just the lighting.

@lovelykatya there was no glitter or shimmer in the ones I received. I seem to recall Bite saying there was no shimmer, it can just look like it depending on lighting since these aren't completely Matte.

My store had a limited selection but I swatched what they had! These are soo soft. I am curious about how or if they set at all.

On my lips they do set. They're super creamy when swatched on the hand. But oddly not on the lips and apply nicely. Afterwards it feels like you have nothing on your lips!

I ended up getting 10 and ordering 42. I tend to wear neutral/mauve or very dark shades (my go-tos are thistle, rhubarb, & Lab #1) so I thought these two were a good place to start! I think 42 will be here tomorrow. Once I get it I will post swatches! @suessquatsch

Gonna be a couple more days... box arrived today with #42 on the packing slip but not in the box. 🙁 CS was super awesome though, so the replacement is already processing. So frustrated but trying to keep my first world problems in check! LOL
