Got to swatch the new Lip Lab glosses in store but the lighting wasn’t that great and I was in a hurry. I picked 2 out of the 8 they had on display. There isn’t shade names and the colors I got are an Irvine, CA lip lab exclusive to their store.  They said the glosses that are premade for the store are not scented. 

I was there mainly to pick up my new rose gold cap since the etching on the one I got in January wasn’t that great.

@SportyGirly125  I'm glad you got your replacement cap! Also, thanks for the info on the new glosses. Good to know they're sheer; now I wonder if a custom gloss can be made semi-sheer instead or even more pigmented. I'll have to ask Lip Lab before I book my appointment. This could get very expensive, very quickly. 🤣

@SportyGirly125  Good to know. I'll likely go the custom gloss route instead, and those are $50 each unless you buy it in a custom bundle. And since custom lipsticks are $65 each, I'll definitely go the bundle route to save money—but knowing me, I'll end up buying 2 bundles. 🤦‍♀️ I just need to force myself to stick to the 1 lipstick + 1 gloss bundle.

@WinglessOne @when I went for my bday back in January I got the bundle for three lippies and made 2 lipsticks and a lip balm. I felt a little rushed because they have time limits. For my bestie and I they gave us a hour total. Back in 2020 they gave us more time and we were grouped with another 2 people.

Here are my new lippies! Decided to go into my store to see them tho they didn’t have testers yet. Glad they worked out! 😊

Initial thoughts- and sorry for long post! The shades are not quite same as old formula but they are still very beautiful.  
I was skeptical when I first saw the colors. Lol. But they look beautiful on. Most all look quite muted yet on they come to life. ( I really wanted to see Maple bec it looks cooler toned than old shade but not much. It’s still warm not deep wine red as described imho) As I couldn’t swatch it I didn’t risk it. )

They do not feel like a traditional matte at all vs a lightweight balm matte. Not true heavier consistency. I taste nothing. They do feel a touch dry vs hydrating to me after a bit but feel light, comfy and leave good color. It took several passes to get more color as I prefer but they still layered fine with no patchiness. One layer is still ok, just more like a pigmented balm almost like Hermes or Violette. Or also similar to MAC Powder Kiss. These are not same as last LE release nor the existing creamy mattes. That was more of a semi- matte but still true lipstick coverage vs this new formula. I like them both! 🥰 I would still like to see a satin formula too! Maybe?! ☺️ I also love the new bags! Just as cute.
