@lachaton I read it too. I follow the person she said she compared it to (xSparkage) and I like her reviews. She's been on YouTube a long time.  AngelaMaryTanner and Linda Hallberg on IG had similar reviews to Temptalia (powdery but usable) but many other Youtubers I follow have shown explosions of powder. I was really interested in this but I'm definitely gonna hold off buying it now.

I read that too. At first I wanted the palette but after her review i didn't, even though she gave it a B. Turns out I own alot of the MUFE dupes she posted anyway...

It averaged out to a B, but when you read the written section of her review in to account, it's clear that it's not up to snuff. I'm baffled that she had to start over three different times to finally get a look that worked and blended, and it still averaged out to a B. I mean, the math checks out, but it's a good example of when her grading rubrik fails to convey a product's actual quality.

Also worth noting that her B appears to be one of the better batches, and that there are definitely defective/bad batches that are being sold. So it's more of a "At best, it's a B... and that "best case" involves a bunch of caveats about difficult blending and pigmentation and hard pan."

In my opinion Moonchild is so much better than the Aurora palette.  I use Moonchild all the time and Aurora... well I probably should have returned it...

I just got the aurora palette so I'm onthe fence with Moonchild.  They look so similar I think i may pass

Edit: Also waiting on the newer glow kit that's supposedly coming out this fall. Hopefully that one's nice and has a good formula without the glitter like the kits used to!

Does anyone have reviews to share of the ABH Liquid highlighters that were released last week?

Temptalia reviewed two of them and gave them AWFUL reviews 😧  I was really looking forward to trying them (since I prefer liquid highlighter to powder)...but it sounds like they have the same issues I had with the Colourpop crystal highlighters (breaking up foundation, hard to blend, etc).

i used subculture last night! the shadows are definitely softer than the MR but so pigmented, so you just need to lightly tap your brush into them. i also found cube hard to pick up unless i wet my brush. overall, i like it based on my first impression! i am looking forward to playing!

i wore the new matte lipstick in stevie as well. the formula is super matte, but comfortable, and lasted through drinks just fine!

@unfungirl I've seen such mixed reviews for this palette. Two reviewers I trust said it was pigmented and good but a little tricky to work with. I like the color scheme enough to buy it regardless I think.

@makeitup305 temptalia and ourbeauty cult said the same thing. i think some of the shades are harder to work with but not impossible. when MR came out, a lot of people said the same thing about it! i do think that a few shades are harder to blend out, but i don't regret purchasing it!

I'm not so sure I want it anymore. 😬  I'm going to hold off on purchasing and see how things play out.

The only color that I really want is the metallic duochrome color.  The rest are beautiful but not something to die for.  I just finally purchased the modern renaissance palette and it is pretty dreamy, which makes me think I should just bite the bullet and buy the Subculture palette... we will see...
