So....totally missed this. How do you get a password? Gah, I'm so out of the loop.

@czikimonkey this opens to the public at 12PM eastern (password shouldn't be necessary at that point). They set a few hundred kits aside for the password-protected release, which occurred an hour earlier than the general release on her site.

For the record, when I tried to check out and used a different e-mail than the one I'd signed up with, it gave me an error. It only let me checkout when I used the waitlisted e-mail.

I don't know if that was a coincidence or if her site is that sophisticated enough.

Ugh I wish I knew this earlier!! No one was saying it so I figured everyone had an individual code, boo!!

@sabrinas, it opens to the public at 12pm eastern - so in another ~15 minutes you should be able to access it without a code.

Helpful notes for everyone:

1. Does accept paypal.

2. The link in the email took me to a page where I had to enter the code (no other information on page). I got stuck here - wouldn't let me past.

I got around it by:

- New Tab (google) Pat McGrath.

- From her site's homepage use the dropdown on the top left to select skin fetish

- This took me to the product page. (Above the "Application" and "description" tabs is a box "ENTER CODE" which you need to do to add them to the cart.)

I found I was able to use the link to get the stuff in my cart, but I could only get back to the page by navigating from main site, then saw one of the things I'd added actually added so I checked out!

This has been extremely frustrating.

It doesn't help that I hate her site to begin with. It's not easily navigable. And then when people are doing launches or releases and don't anticipate concentrated, high traffic and they haven't built up the site infrastructure to handle that.. sigh. I get really frustrated by it all.

OMG what a train wreck. I finally got the order in and then it said the back end server was at capacity.

It finally took the order and now I'm late for my apt at work.

Doesn't everyone know we need makeup!!!

I can't get passed the login page!!! UGH

Try using firefox on a PC.  I was just able to get back in and put both in my cart.

I am on Firefox on my laptop and entered the password about a 100 times... never lets me pass that page!

That happened to me too at first and then it randomly let me through.  Just now, though it wasn't giving me trouble.

@veronika23 I got stuck on that page too. See if you can get to the product page from the homepage. Not the direct product link in the email - I got stuck constantly trying to input the code there.

I can't get back to the main page but see the drop down menu on the side.. if I click I still get the password page which I can't pass..
